Trade union and academic figures condemned in the strongest terms the aggression of the Turkish regime on Syrian territory, stressing that it is a flagrant violation of international law and a flagrant violation of the UN Security Council resolutions that respect the unity, integrity and sovereignty of Syria.
In remarks to SANA, Jamal al-Qadri, head of the General Federation of Trade Unions, confirmed the absolute rejection of the Turkish regime's attacks on Syrian territory, pointing to the role of the Erdogan regime in the war on Syria by facilitating the infiltration of terrorists and providing all forms of support to them.
Qadri stressed that the Turkish aggression against Syria is an occupation and will be dealt with on this basis, stressing that the American presence as well as the Turkish presence is an occupation and an illegal presence.
Al-Qadri called on the Kurdish organizations of separatist tendencies to return to their senses because America did not fill their heads except illusions, indicating that the only solution to maintain security in the Syrian island is the Syrian Arab Army.
For his part, the head of the Baath Vanguards Organization, Ezzat Arabi Katabi, pointed out that the Turkish regime's aggression against Syria seeks to realize the dreams and ambitions of the new Ottomans known and exposed, but they found today the opportunity to express their hatred openly, stressing that the Syrians will remain committed to every grain of the country.
For his part, member of the Vanguard of the Baath Organization, Khadr Al-Saleh, stressed that the Syrian people reject and condemn the blatant aggression of the Turkish regime forces against Syria, while Haytham Abu Moghadb, a member of the leadership of the Vanguard of the Baath Party, pointed out that Syria is a sovereign state and the Turkish regime's aggression violates the UN conventions and we will stand united behind. Syrian Arab Army in order to recover every grain of soil from this homeland.
Dr. Samir Hassan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Political Science for Scientific Affairs, described the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory as treacherous as the Zionist aggression, stressing that it must resist by all available military and non-military means.
Dr. Namir Issa, head of international relations at the Faculty of Political Science, pointed out that the Turkish aggression will have great repercussions on Turkey, especially as most of the world strongly condemned it.
In turn, a member of the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students Darin Suleiman said that the Turkish aggression is illegal occupation and interference in Syrian sovereignty and rejected student and popular pointing out that it is part of the terrorism to which Syria is subjected.
Suleiman said that the Turkish regime has supported terrorists since the beginning of the crisis in Syria and had a negative and dirty role similar to the US role and other countries that supported terrorism in Syria.
Hazem Abbas, a graduate student at the Faculty of Political Science at Damascus University, said that the Turkish aggression is a continuation of the policy and ambitions of the Erdogan regime in the Syrian territories and his renewed ambitions to impose a new Ottoman vision on the region.
Ashraf Fadel, a graduate student at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Damascus, pointed out that the Turkish conspiracy against Syria is not new, but is a renewed old, pointing out that the Turkish regime is to support and finance terrorism and embraced.
