Iranian Shura Council member Karen Khanlari condemned the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, describing the crimes of the Turkish regime against civilians in Syria as genocide.
In a statement to Fars News Agency, Khanlari said that the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory is a violation of international laws and has resulted in a large number of victims, calling on the international community to stop this aggression and condemn it.
“The Turkish regime interferes directly in Syria's internal affairs through its vision stemming from the revival of the Ottoman Empire,” Khanlari said, pointing out that the Turkish regime has been working for years to undermine peace in the Middle East by using its tools of terrorist organizations such as ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra. ”.
Khanlari explained that successive Turkish governments have a long history of massacres and heinous crimes against humanity and are currently trying to find solutions to their political and security problems in the same way.
