The leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Ali Khamenei, stressed that Iran will not be the first to start any war, but if it is launched on it will make those who start it regret.
During his meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Khamenei expressed regret over the destructive role of some countries in the region in supporting terrorism and bloodshed in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
Khamenei noted the Pakistani government's interest in establishing peace and security in the region.
For his part, Khan stressed the necessity of developing cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad. "We consider Iran an important partner, especially in the commercial field," Khan said.
