The result of the verification was collected for 11 days. In addition to overlooking the dangers of the flight system that caused the accident due to FAA's ability and lack of experience, he pointed out that there was “unfair pressure” at the site. Recommended a fundamental review of the certification system.
This is the first time that 737MAX certification procedures, which have been suspected of adhesion with Boeing, are publicly verified by public authorities.

FAA gave 737MAX a “type certificate” in March 2017 and gave it a go-ahead for commercial operations. The FAA requested independent verification from a joint team formed by US authorities such as the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), as well as aeronautical authorities in 10 countries and regions such as Japan, China, and the European Union (EU).
