Fire brigades in Homs today extinguished several fires in agricultural and forest lands in the villages of Nazareth, Mushtayah, Ain al-Baredah, Hab Nimra and al-Zwaitina in Wadi al-Nadara area west of Homs.
Colonel Othman Gouda, commander of the Homs fire brigade, said that in cooperation with the fire department, the fire department was extinguishing a fire that moved from the town of Nazareth to Marmarita.
It is noteworthy that the villages of the valley area since yesterday witnessed sporadic fires.
