French soldier killed, Tunisian soldier injured in Tunis

A Frenchman was killed and a Tunisian soldier was injured after being stabbed with a knife in the governorate of Bizerte, north of Tunis.

A man with a knife stabbed the Frenchman and the soldier before fleeing without giving further details, local radio Mosaic FM quoted a security source as saying.

For his part, Tunisian Defense Ministry spokesman Major Mohamed Zekri told the radio that a soldier was stabbed by a sharp machine by a person from the region of Jarzouna in the province of Bizerte.
