The crew of the Admiral Makarov frigate of the Russian Black Sea Fleet carried out live-fire exercises in the eastern Mediterranean, including the launch of winged Kaliber missiles.
The Russian captain Anton Kobrin told reporters on Thursday that all weapons of the ship had been tested in battle conditions in practice, including caliber missiles and air defense systems.
The frigate, with a tonnage of about 4,000 tons, is capable of traveling at speeds of up to 30 knots and is armed with Kaliber and Shatel 1 air defense missiles, artillery and torpedoes.
