[Washington 11th Reuters]-US President Trump announced the resignation of Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Maccarinan on the 11th. The successor will be announced next week.
Mr. Macalinan was the fourth head of the Homeland Security Ministry under the Trump administration. Mr. Nielsen took office as Secretary of State following the resignation of former Secretary of State Soil Security.
Mr. Trump posted on Twitter, “McCullinan, who has worked for the government for a long time, wants to move to the private sector and spend more time with his family.”
He explained, “A new secretary will be announced next week. There are many great candidates.”
