[Reuters, Washington, 13]-The son of the former US Vice President Biden, Hunter, who is considered a promising candidate for the 2020 US presidential election, countered President Trump's criticism of business in Ukraine and China on the 13th.
President Trump has been impeached for allegations that put pressure on Ukraine to investigate Biden's parents and children. Mr. Hunter, who has been silent until now, is the first to claim his position.
Mr. Hunter, through his lawyer, revealed his intention to retire from a director of a Chinese company that was the target of Mr. Trump's criticism. When Mr. Biden was elected in the presidential election next year, he also indicated that he would not work for foreign companies.
The lawyer explained in a statement that "Hunter took on these businesses independently. I thought it was not appropriate to discuss it with his father."
The lawyer also stressed that Mr. Hunter had never been pointed out of fraud during his five-year career at a Ukrainian gas company.
