Iraqi Defense Minister Najah al-Shammari discussed with the representatives of Syria and Russia at the joint intelligence coordination center the developments of the security situation in Syria and Iraq against the backdrop of the Turkish regime's aggression on Syrian territory.
Maj. Gen. Tahseen al-Khafaji, a spokesman for the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, told SANA in Baghdad that talks between al-Shammari and the Syrian and Russian sides dealt with the latest developments in the security situation and the possibility of the entry of elements of the terrorist organization "ISIS" fleeing from Syria to Iraqi territory. Syrian-Iraqi combat units and thermal cameras and modern means of monitoring to prevent the infiltration of terrorists to the Iraqi depth.
Many forces and countries that reject the aggression of the Turkish regime on the Syrian territories unanimously warned against the repercussions of this negative aggression on the anti-terrorism efforts in Syria, warning of the possibility of supporting terrorists with this aggression.
