Al-Wathba basketball club's men concluded their preparations for the new season by setting up an external training camp in Lebanon.
Club president Iyad Daraq al-Sibai told the sports newsletter SANA: The aim of the camp is to increase the experience, harmony and friction, especially since the teams we played with during the camp have high-level foreign and local players.
Bassel Atassi, a basketball official at the club, said the team played in the camp with Lebanese Huntman and Byblos teams and performed well in anticipation of the Cup title.
The player Jamil Sadir pointed to the importance of the camp as an important opportunity to increase the experience of players, while the player Mohammed Zidan that the camp was an important station in the series of preparations, especially as it provided the opportunity to play against professional players at the international level.
