Italian President Sergio Matarella condemned today the Turkish regime's aggression on Syrian territory.
At a joint news conference in Washington with US President Donald Trump, Matarella said his country "condemns the Turkish attack," warning that it "threatens to bring ISIL back."
The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said earlier today that the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory impedes the political process to resolve the crisis, stressing the need for a common European position against this aggression.
