A number of members called for the disbursement of the salaries of the suspended construction and reconstruction staff, the payment of pension compensation to road and bridge workers, the settlement of the fourth floor built during the war years in most neighborhoods of Homs and the start of housing construction in the model villages, especially in the Ghab area of Hama countryside.

Abdul Latif pointed out to the most important projects of the Regional Planning Commission currently, which is the preparation of the spatial planning studies guide, the project of modernization and development, the national framework for regional planning, the national housing map project to identify the most suitable places for housing, the project of updating the spatial vision of industrial activity and the project of studying the regional plan of the Syrian coast so that A clear view of the land use of the coastline.
Minister Abdul Latif pointed out that the number of real estate development zones is 26, 18 of which are on state land and 8 on private land with a total area of 4233 hectares, which can accommodate more than 800 thousand people. The governorates of Damascus countryside, Aleppo, Homs and Hama were announced four updated areas by the administrative units in Hama, Homs, Damascus and Aleppo countryside.

Minister Abdullatif pointed to the most important projects of the Studies Company, which is to re-evaluate the organizational plans in the liberated areas, including the Yarmouk camp area of 220 hectares and 217 hectares in Damascus, Ain al-Fijeh and Ain al-Khadra. Quneitra and its commons, an evaluation project for the organizational plan of Daraa city, as well as Deir Ezzor city and the infrastructure networks of Basilia City with residential models for alternative housing, a project in the green city of Maarouna, the new organizational plan for Jaramana city in Damascus countryside, in addition to D Al Dimas Youth and Regional Planning for the Coast and Industrial Zones in a number of governorates, pointing to the existence of seven projects of the Water Studies Company working on the implementation in Tartous, Homs, Hasaka and Hama.
The ministry is working on projects, the most important of which are the national housing strategy, the organizational plans of the administrative units, the technical observers institutes and the professional training centers, the minister said, pointing out that the ministry will conduct statistical workshops to develop new indicators that will benefit the housing plans.
He pointed out that the ministry began to implement the contract signed with a Russian company to supply heavy machinery and engineering equipment for construction companies, where the first batch was received, eleven of the 144 mechanisms.
In response to the members' questions, Minister Abdul Latif confirmed that housing is being considered for the families of the martyrs and the wounded in various governorates.
The Minister of Housing said that any citizen has the right to register for one-time housing in the cooperative housing, but it is not allowed to allocate a housing only after proving government documents that he does not have another house to prevent trafficking in social housing, pointing out that the housing institution gets the cost paid by non-profit, but because of the high Prices have become premiums and subscriptions are high.
Minister Abdul Latif said that 70 percent of the real estate development areas will be social housing in installments and that there will soon be a distribution to all associations in all governorates.
The minister pointed out that the horizontal construction provides more areas and improves the organizational plan and uses, but if the buildings are horizontal and the density is low, the orientation will be towards the vertical housing, pointing out that he asked the ministry to determine the cost of building a political bridge in Deir Ezzor.
The Minister of Public Works and Housing said that there is a map of informal housing in each governorate and can be accessed through real estate development or administrative units. As for alternative housing, the ministry can be charged with organizing alternative housing in project 66 and we are currently studying this project.
