The International Exhibition of Shoes, Leathers and Production Requirements (SILA) will start this evening in the autumn and winter of 2019-2020 on the grounds of the exhibition city in Damascus, organized by the Arab Federation of Leather Industries, the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and the Committee of Leather Industries in Aleppo Chamber of Industry.
In a statement to SANA Economic Bulletin, Secretary General of the Arab Federation for Leather Industries Mohammad Kzara explained that the exhibition will be attended by about 100 companies, including 6 Arab companies and the rest of Syria specialized in the manufacture of shoes and leather and production requirements.
He pointed out that the exhibition is a platform for leather and footwear manufacturers to market their products in the local market and export to Arab and foreign markets through invitations addressed to the most important importers and traders from the countries of Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine and Lebanon to get acquainted with the latest findings of the leather industry in Syria and to conclude deals and sign export contracts to markets External.
