Democratic Presidential candidates in the US entered their fourth televised debate in the night of Wednesday in Westerville, Ohio. For the first time, twelve candidates will be on stage together, including the two leading pollsters: former US Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Biden had led the Democratic field of applicants for months by far, but in the past few weeks Warren caught up enormously. The two are now going head-to-head. It was therefore anticipated that the TV debate in Westerville would give either of them a special boost.

The second point in the debate was about the behavior of Joe Biden and his son in the Ukraine affair. The former vice president said, "My son did nothing wrong, I did not do anything wrong." However, he made several requests for possible own wrongdoing in the case several times and instead tried to direct the attention to US President Donald Trump: "This is about Trump's corruption, which we should focus on."

His son's latest statement speaks for itself, Biden said. He was referring to Hunter Biden's interview with ABC. In it he had made mistakes in his dealings in China and Ukraine; At the same time, he asserted that he had never done anything improper.

Sanders: Trump is the "most corrupt" president of all time

Trump accuses the Bidens without mentioning any evidence of involvement in corruption cases in Ukraine and China. The US Democrats, in turn, accuse Trump of abusing the power of his office in the Ukraine affair so that a foreign government intervenes in his favor in the election campaign. They are therefore considering impeachment proceedings against Trump.

In the debate in Ohio, this was also the first question of moderators to politicians: whether the Democrats have any other chance than to initiate such a procedure? No, said Bernie Sanders, for example. He named Trump the "most corrupt" president of all time - earning approval from Joe Biden. Elizabeth Warren once again stated that nobody was above the law, not even the president. And Kamala Harris criticized that Trump was not only corrupt, but deeply unpatriotic.
