More than 20 people, supposedly linked to correísmo, are investigated in Ecuador after the episodes of violence during the protests of the last days. According to the prosecution, 14 of them are in pretrial detention and another 7 refugees at the Mexican embassy in Quito. They are accused of trying to destabilize the government of Lenín Moreno. Rafael Correa, former president of Ecuador, described these accusations as a "clown."
