The 27 European Union leaders today adopted the agreement reached by London with the EU which will be presented to the British House of Commons for ratification.
Speaking after a meeting of European leaders and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, European Council President Donald Tusk said that the summit of heads of state and government adopted the agreement and it seems that we are very close to the final stage.
He pointed out that the European Union and Britain are very close to the final stage of the separation of Britain from the united bloc, pointing out that the last two steps is the approval of the parliaments of both Britain and the Union.
Tusk said that if London wanted to return to the European Union, our door would remain open.
Johnson, in turn, considered this a great deal for his country, adding that Britain would leave the union united.
Tusk's comments come after the bloc's members agreed to an agreement today under which Britain would leave the EU on October 31.
