The authorities of the Turkish regime have arrested mayors belonging to the Turkish Democratic Peoples Party after they were sacked and appointed other officials in their repressive measures to prevent them from expressing their opposition to its policies, especially its aggression on Syrian territory.
"The two mayors of Nusaybin have been replaced by the state-appointed partnership Samira Narkz and Farhad Kot Boussy," the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) said.
The authorities of the Turkish regime yesterday arrested four mayors belonging to the opposition People's Democratic Party from the municipalities of Hakkari, Yukskova, Ergesh and Nusaybin in southeastern Turkey. And prevent them from expressing their positions opposing its policies, especially its aggression on Syrian territory.
Dozens of criminal cases have been opened against people across the country for criticizing the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory a week ago, including the leaders of the People's Party Cezay Timeli and Bervin Boldan following their statements against the aggression.
