Demonstrators continued their protests in various Lebanese areas, blocking roads and lighting tires in the streets in protest against the deteriorating living conditions.
The Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that Lebanese protesters and protesters continued their rallies this evening in the Riad El Solh and Martyrs Square in downtown Beirut with calls for continued sit-ins and protests throughout Lebanon.
A large number of protesters also demonstrated in Tripoli's Al-Nour Square, blocking the mountain road, which was tired with burning tires, while a large number of demonstrators gathered on the Jal el Dib highway east of Beirut.
In Akkar, the number of demonstrators gathered in Halba, where they condemned the imposition of taxation for the people and reopened the international highway slavery in both directions after they removed the obstacles and waste of burning tires.
Protesters also gathered in Keserwan, Metn, Zahleh, Aley, West Bekaa, Baalbeck, Rachaya and Sidon, blocking several roads with burning tires and chanting slogans and slogans condemning the deterioration of living conditions in the country.
Protesters also blocked the international road to the Syrian border at the Marj junction near Chtaura with stones and earth mounds.
The Lebanese People's Congress considered in a statement today that "the current popular uprising has consecrated the unity of the suffering of the Lebanese people."
The statement also condemned all those working to deflect the popular intifada and violate the security situation, calling on all concerned to stop immediately blocking roads and allow the passage of citizens and ambulances to carry out their duty.
In a similar statement, the political body in the Free Patriotic Movement in Lebanon affirmed its support for the movement demanding the demonstrators, noting their support and their call not to allow any party to exploit their cause and demands to achieve declared political ends leading to chaos.
For his part, Lebanese Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said in a statement today that the budget has been completed without any new tax or fees, canceling all projects submitted in this regard from any side and approving serious reform steps with a contribution from the banking sector and others in a way that does not affect citizens in any way. No tax, no matter how small.
In turn, Khalil Hamdan, a member of the Presidency of the Amal Movement reaffirmed the movement's support for the protest movement and said: "We are in Amal movement with the right to demonstrate. We and the demonstrators have to stand up to the tucked."
