With a party reform that includes a total of 75 points, the CSU executive wants to make the party more modern, younger, female and the leading digital party in Germany. According to point 63 of the lead application - "widening the female membership base" - the women's quota of 40 percent, which already applies today in the CSU at the district and party executive level, should be extended to the district associations. Ulrike Scharf, chairman of the Women's Union in the CSU, appealed to the delegates to include the women's quota in the party's constitution. Nobody wanted to be a "quota woman" in the CSU, but without these tools, party reform would not be possible.
