Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Dr. Ali Abdel-Al, reaffirmed the condemnation of Egypt and its people for the Turkish aggression on Syrian lands, describing it as a barbaric invader.
In a speech during a session of the Egyptian parliament, Abdel-Al said that the Turkish aggressor forces are described as invading because the invading forces are not governed by international rules. This is the same as the Turkish leadership, which pursues barbaric acts that break the law and the UN Charter, stressing that the principle of non-interference in Syrian affairs. The political solution to the crisis is the Egyptian policy approach.
In turn, MP Ahmed Raslan, head of the Arab Relations Committee in the Egyptian parliament, said in his speech in the Egyptian House of Representatives that the barbaric attack launched by the Turkish forces on Syrian territory returns humanity to the law of the jungle and contravenes the rules of international law and international legitimacy. Its territorial integrity constitutes a threat to the political process in Syria in accordance with Security Council Resolution 2254 and to stability and security in the entire region and threatens international peace and security.
Raslan added that the brutal aggression is an implementation of the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization supported by the President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which is rejected by the majority of the Turkish people, as this aggression reveals the size of Turkish ambitions, which Egypt warned in the region.
Raslan pointed out that the Arab Affairs Committee in the Egyptian Parliament closely follows the Turkish aggression against Syria and calls for a complete Arab boycott of Turkey economically, commercially, politically and touristly, calling on Arab countries to expel the ambassadors of the Turkish regime from its territory and withdraw the ambassadors of Arab countries to Ankara to stop the aggression on Syrian territory.
During his meeting with the Charge d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Cairo, Dr. Bassam Darwish at the Egyptian parliament building, MP Ruslan affirmed the Egyptian people's support to the Syrian people, pointing to the depth of the fateful relations between the two peoples.
For his part, Darwish praised the positions in support of the right and Syria in its war against terrorism, which was funded and facilitated by the Turkish criminal regime headed by Erdogan.
Darwish also delivered an official memorandum containing the formation of the Syrian-Egyptian fraternity committee in the Syrian People's Assembly, stressing the importance of deepening the deep-rooted relations between the parliaments of the two countries.
