Prague-Sana
Yaromir Chalabata, head of the Czechoslovak Institute of International Relations, called for harsh sanctions on the Turkish regime for its aggression on Syrian territory and its attempt to exploit major crises and issues in the region to achieve its ambitions and cover its internal crises.
Speaking to SANA correspondent in Prague, Shlabata said that the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory is "contrary to the human values and principles of international law", stressing the need for the international community to take firm measures to deter this aggression, which poses a serious threat to the security and stability of the region and the European Union countries.
The head of the Czechoslovak Institute for International Relations praised the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Syrian people in the face of terrorism and their supporters, condemning the policy of the United States and its allies against Syria and other countries that defend their sovereignty and national decision and confront terrorism and American hegemony.
