Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades condemned the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory.
Anastasiades said in a statement that the Turkish aggression is another unacceptable despotism aimed at serving Turkish interests and represents an illegal act and is not justified in any way.
In turn, Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides called for a halt to the Turkish aggression and reiterated his country's position to find a political settlement to the crisis in Syria.
