Iranian President Ali Larijani reiterated his country's stance in support of Syrian territorial integrity and security.
"Iran supports the security and stability of Syria and always insists on preserving its territorial integrity, so it is holding necessary consultations with other countries on this," Larijani said.
For his part, Ambassador Mahmoud stressed the necessity to stop the aggression of the Turkish regime and the withdrawal of its occupying forces and all illegal foreign forces from Syrian territory, stressing the determination of the Syrian Arab Army to regain full control over all Syrian territory, protect the borders and cleanse the remaining terrorism in Syria.
Ambassador Mahmoud expressed Syria's appreciation of Iran's stances in support of Syria's sovereignty, territorial integrity and the fight against terrorism.
