The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities are using the American bias to implement their expansionist colonial plans at the expense of the Palestinian lands, pointing out that the international community and the United Nations abandoning their responsibilities towards the Palestinian people lose the world order.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement today that the Israeli occupation authorities plan to seize 700 dunums of the village of Qaryut south of Nablus in the northern West Bank to expand a settlement built on Palestinian lands in the area and link it to settlement outposts built on the lands of Salfit and Qalqilya. The plan coincides with the expansion of settlement operations in the eastern areas of the West Bank, especially the Jordan Valley, to transform the cities and towns of the West Bank into isolated communities, deepen the apartheid system in Palestine and undermine any chance for peace.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that what the occupation authorities are doing is an effective annexation of the West Bank and a transfer of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people of the de facto from a political issue to the problem of a population in need of relief programs and living economic projects, expressing its condemnation of the international community's statements of official condemnation of settlements and expansionist occupation plans.
