Dmitry Soslov, deputy director of research programs at the Russian Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, said that the United States aims to maintain its influence in the region by provoking chaos and conflicts in it.
In an interview with a SANA correspondent in Moscow today, Soslov said that Washington is never interested in the issue of terrorists and is indifferent to the fact that many ISIS terrorists are fleeing their places of detention because of the Turkish military operation in different directions.
Soslov pointed out that US President Donald Trump aims to talk about withdrawing troops from Syria to solve his internal problems and is trying to consolidate his positions among the Republican voters.
In a similar interview, the director of the Institute for Political and Social Studies in the Black Bahrain region and the Caspian Victor Nadine Rayevsky said that the Turkish regime authorities want to make a demographic change in the area it calls the “safe zone” northeast of Syria, pointing out that it forced the population to leave that area to be replaced by extremist terrorists. Rayevsky explained that the US created terrorist organizations such as "ISIS" and others will enjoy full freedom in the so-called "safe area" under the protection of Turkey and the United States, pointing out that the Americans still maintain terrorist groups in the area of al-Tanf in southern Syria and they are practicing a destabilizing approach It created chaos for not completing the political settlement of the crisis in Syria.
