The research team tweeted that the wreckage found on the seabed was confirmed to be Akagi. According to US AP, the sunken ship was found on the 5490-meter seabed, and it was known as “Akagi” from its shape.
What I found was a foundation founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, who died at the age of 65 last year. In 2015, he continued to investigate sunken ships during the Pacific War, including the discovery of battleship Musashi.
