Five smashed window panes: This is the result of an attack on the constituency office of the Berlin CDU member of parliament Klaus-Dieter Gröhler in the night to Tuesday.
Gröhler said it was no coincidence that the disks had been damaged a few hours after an event in the office with the anti-Semitism commissioner of the Federal Government, Felix Klein.
The State Criminal Investigation Department responsible for extremist acts has started investigations. According to statements of neighbors several perpetrators have been seen.
The parliamentary executive director of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group, Michael Grosse-Brömer, emphasized: "Attacks on MPs and their constituency offices are at the same time attacks on parliamentary democracy (...) We are neither impressed nor intimidated by such vicious attacks."
