When recovering the transmission of preliminary data, the official page of the Plurinational Electoral Body (Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Bolivia) reflected contradictions in the vote count in Bolivia. According to the figures of the electoral body itself, the transmission of the minutes favors the current president Evo Morales, while the vote count favors his main opponent, Carlos Mesa. The Electoral Observation Mission of the OAS in Bolivia, denounced via Twitter the interruption of the transmission of preliminary results of the elections in that country and requested that “the process of publication of the data of the computation be conducted smoothly”. Carlos Mesa, main opponent of Evo Morales and candidate for the Citizen Community, talks about the OAS complaint in Conclusions.
