Iranian Defense Minister, Amir Hatami, described the enemies project to form a "maritime alliance" as a failure, stressing that Iran has reached a level of deterrence to protect the country from any harm.
"Moving within the limits of technology and bringing products to international standards is the most important advantage of the Ministry of Defense's maritime industries," Hatami was quoted as saying by IRNA.
He pointed to the geopolitical position of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the importance of open water in Iran, adding that "the establishment of naval power and production along with other defensive components in the field of air, air and electronics is critical."
"The scope of the threats is changing every day in different ways," Hatami said. It is dynamic and effective and this path continues strongly.
