Nuevo León approves medical conscientious objection

The National Council to Prevent Discrimination, Conapred, warned about the possibility that the Reform to the State Health Law of Nuevo León "becomes an impediment for all people to fully exercise their right to health." The communiqué is published after the decision of the Congress of Nuevo León to include the conscientious objection in the state health law, which states in a textual way that “the medical and nursing staff that is part of the state health system may exercise the objection of conscience and excuse yourself from participating in the presentation of services established by law ”.
