President Bashar al-Assad and Russian President Vladimir Putin talked about the situation in northern Syria.
During the phone call, President Putin affirmed the unity and sovereignty of Syria, both land and people.
For his part, President al-Assad stressed the total rejection of any invasion of Syrian territory under any name or pretext and that the owners of separatist targets hold responsibility for the current situation.
President al-Assad also stressed the return of the population to their areas to stop any previous attempts of any demographic transition that some tried to impose, stressing Syria's continued fight against terrorism and occupation on any inch of Syrian territory by all legitimate means.
