(CNN) - On Tuesday they reported a shooting at a high school in Santa Rosa, California, according to police.
It is not clear how many people have been injured, but police say the suspect is free and that, as a result, there are currently three schools closed.
The shooting occurred at Ridgway High School. That school, along with Santa Rosa High and Santa Rosa Junior College, are closed while police investigate, according to Santa Rosa police.
The Santa Rosa Fire Department is held at Ridgway High School, but the dispatcher has no further details and is referred to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
Santa Rosa is about 88 kilometers north of San Francisco in Sonoma County.
