Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim reiterated his country's position on eliminating terrorism.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry said in a statement received by SANA correspondent in Baghdad that Hakim called on the international community in a speech during a meeting of foreign ministers of non-aligned countries held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku to exert all efforts to eliminate the roots of terrorism and groups supporting it, stressing the importance of active participation in the restoration Iraqi antiquities stolen by ISIS terrorist organization.
Al-Hakim also stressed Iraq's firm stance on the Palestinian issue and called for supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, resisting the Israeli occupation and guaranteeing their right to self-determination.
The minister reiterated Iraq's position to resolve the crises in the region peacefully, especially in the Gulf and to work on the language of dialogue.
