River Plate endures and qualifies for the final of the Copa Libertadores

(CNN Spanish) - Boca Juniors defeated River Plate 1-0 at La Bombonera but it was not enough to win the Copa Libertadores semifinal. River Plate endured and validated its 2-0 lead of the first leg. The millionaire set kept the arc at zero and once again left his toughest rival untitled. As a year ago - after the final postponed and finally painful for the xeneizes in Madrid - Marcelo Gallardo's team prevailed and strikes again for the championship.

Gustavo Alfaro's team put more pressure on them and even scored a goal in the first half: a hand of Mas invalidated Salvio's score.

Goalkeeper Franco Armani de River was crucial in maintaining the tie, especially after an error by Enzo Pérez.

River will play the final with the winner of the semifinal between Flamengo and Gremio (in the first leg they tied 1-1).
