Vladimir Jabbarov, First Deputy Chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Council of the Russian Federation, confirmed that the US military presence in Syria is illegal.
Jabbarov said in a statement today: "It is not understood on what grounds exist as it is illegal presence in Syrian territory," stressing that Washington will sooner or later be forced to withdraw from Syria.
Washington has sent troops to Syria as part of its illegal coalition to fight ISIS and supported its separatist militias on the Syrian island, confirming that its goal is to undermine the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and prolong the crisis there.
