(CNN Spanish) - In the lawsuit that was filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County on Monday, a woman alleges that the ex-boxer Óscar de la Hoya sexually assaulted her in November 2017, while they were in the residence of the ex-boxer in the city of Pasadena, California.
The complainant was identified as "Jane Doe," a name usually given by some people in the United States to protect their identity.
The legal document includes five accusations against De La Hoya: sexual assault, sex with violence, gender violence, neglect and intentional imposition with emotional distress.
Óscar de la Hoya's office “vehemently denies” and describes all accusations as “completely false” and adds that Óscar de la Hoya is “the main target, since he is a very successful businessman, currently running sports and sports companies entertainment, leaders in the world ”. He also says that they will defend “Oscar's good name and reputation”.
CNN has tried to contact the plaintiff's lawyer to learn more about the case, but so far we have not had an answer.
