Sales of the branch of the Syrian Trade Establishment in Homs during the last nine months of this year about nine billion pounds and 800 million pounds of various materials.
Branch Manager Imad Ndour confirmed to SANA Economic Bulletin the availability of a wide variety of stationery, foodstuffs, meat and sugar in sufficient quantities at competitive prices, pointing out that the institution continues to provide its halls with various materials needed by citizens and prices well below the market.
Ndour pointed out that the Corporation continues to implement its plan to expand horizontally in the lounges to cover all rural areas and city districts to provide services to a wide range of citizens and help them to secure their needs of various materials at reasonable prices away from the control of traders and market fluctuations.
On the subject of apple marketing, Ndour explained that the branch of the establishment has completed all its preparations to begin marketing according to the instructions related to marketing. A meeting during the current week with various stakeholders to encourage farmers to deliver their production to the Foundation.
With regard to olive oil, Ndour confirmed his presence in the institution at suitable prices for citizens in cash and installments during the coming period to be marketing the production of the current season according to the need and price and is currently communicating with the farmers to fill it in multiple sizes to take into account the need and capacity of consumers.
It is noteworthy that the purchase price of apples from farmers this season of the first type was set at 220 pounds per kilo.
