The Director General of the Syrian Investment Authority, Madin Diab, pointed out to seek real investment opportunities ready to implement environmentally friendly projects in the sector of alternative and renewable energies.
On the mechanism of establishing renewable and alternative energies projects, Diab said in a statement to SANA Economic Bulletin that the Commission held several meetings to support the renewable energies sector and provide facilities to investors in this area because of the importance and urgency in the coming period. The Regional Planning Commission to discuss 26 sites proposed for the establishment of renewable energy projects in all governorates in accordance with the requirements and capacities required by the Ministry of Electricity by region.
Diab said that the Commission is continuing to implement its plan in cooperation with stakeholders to support environmentally friendly projects and encourage investors to enter the Syrian investment environment in the field of renewable energies.
