Lebanese President Michel Aoun stressed that the regime in his country needs development through constitutional institutions, but does not change in the arena, stressing that freedom of expression is a right reserved for all, but freedom of movement is also the right of all citizens.

Aoun said in a televised address today to the Lebanese people: Reform is a political act with distinction and it is necessary to reconsider the current government reality so that the executive authority can follow up its responsibilities through the established constitutional principles. The earliest time is the establishment of a special court for crimes against public funds, recovering looted funds, lifting immunity and bank secrecy for presidents, ministers, deputies and all those who deal with current and former public funds.

Aoun pointed out that the reform paper presented by the government "will be the first step to save Lebanon and remove the specter of financial and economic collapse from it," pointing out that this paper "was the first achievement of the demonstrators because they helped remove obstacles in front of them" and was adopted at a record speed, but must be accompanied by a set of legislation.

Aoun stressed that the recovery of stolen funds is necessary and a law has been submitted for return, pointing out that there are billions of previous budgets audited by the Audit Bureau and will be held accountable who stole public money through the judiciary, but it is important not to defend him.

Aoun stressed that freedom of expression is a right reserved for all people, but freedom of movement is a right for all citizens and must be a respectable right, calling on citizens to be observers of the implementation of reforms and the squares are always open to them.

Aoun addressed the protesters and demonstrators, saying: I am ready to meet your representatives with your concerns and demands and open a constructive dialogue to reach a result that achieves your goals without causing collapse. Dialogue is always the safest way to save Lebanon.
