A major oil spill has spread across nine states in northeastern Brazil. More than 150 places, including some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, have been affected. Earlier this month, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro accused neighboring Venezuela of causing the spill, a claim denied by Venezuelan authorities. Meanwhile, local residents try to clean themselves the black mud that pollutes coastal cities and towns.
