Iraqi forces destroyed three hideouts of ISIS terrorists in western Anbar province.
"Security forces destroyed three ISIS hideouts in Wadi al-Hajiya, far west of Anbar, after they found them during a search campaign that included weapons, explosive belts, local missile platforms and mines," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
In the province of Diyala in eastern Iraq, a security source announced the start of the second phase of the military operation to track down ISIS cells and destroy their hideouts and eliminate their movements in the Waqf areas northeast of the province.
Iraqi forces continue to pursue remaining remnants of ISIS terrorists in a number of areas and provinces, particularly in the west of the country.
