Demonstrations, sit-ins and banditry continued in Lebanon for the ninth day.

The protesters flocked this morning to sit-ins in Beirut, Sidon, Khaldeh and Tripoli in northern Lebanon and prevented citizens from crossing their cars through roads in the capital, Beirut, which has become paralyzed and all Lebanese institutions, including the Association of Banks, have been closed.

The traffic control chamber of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces announced that roads in Beirut were cut off and traffic was paralyzed as well as roads in most areas of Tripoli in northern Lebanon.

According to the traffic control room, protesters cut off the international road in the Aley roundabout and the roads of Bhamdoun Al-Mahata, Sofar and the junction of Shweit and Al-Abadiya towns in light of the continued closure of schools and universities.

Roads were also cut at the southern entrance of Sidon and in the Bekaa and from the Bekaa towards Beirut and the Halba highway in the Akkar area of ​​northern Lebanon was completely cut by cars and rubber tires.

The traffic control room said that the Kalb highway was cut off towards Beirut with burning tires and blocked the road on the Dora highway in Beirut.

On the other hand, the security forces closed all the roads leading to the presidential palace amid tight security measures since early morning after an invitation was sent to the protesters yesterday to go to the palace under the title of "Great Marching" and appealed to the agricultural authorities and consumer cooperatives, especially in the Bekaa Agricultural access and food to cooperatives and shops.

The Lebanese began on the 17th of this month sit-ins and protests against the deteriorating economic situation in the country and the decisions of the Lebanese cabinet to impose new fees, including charges on communications.
