Mufti Hassoun of al-Hasakah: The Syrian island will remain a symbol of goodness, giving and love

The Grand Mufti of the Republic Dr. Ahmad Badr Al-Din Hassoun, during his visit to Al-Hasakeh governorate today and meeting with Islamic and Christian religious activities, affirmed that the terrorism exported by 100 countries to Syria over the past years did not undermine the unity of the Syrian people and rally around its army.

During the Friday prayer sermon at the Muath bin Jabal Mosque in Hassakeh, Mufti Hassoun explained that “Syria was and still is the light of the day and it is the flag that has been issued to the countries that exported us terrorism and murder.” He said: “God supported us with the honorable men of our Arab, Kurdish, Syrian, Assyrian and Armenian people to defend them. The dust of their homeland, we are all one nation. ”

He also visited the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint George in Al-Hasakah and met with the Christian clergy and prayed in prayer to God that Syria should defend its enemies and maintain security and safety in Syria and its island, and promote the love, cohesion and brotherhood that brings all its children together.

Mufti Hassoun said in a speech: `` I came to the Syrian island to tell its people you were Alnachama and raised heads and clung to your land and adhered to your national positions, what an enemy could use you .. And you learned all who wronged Syria from its sons that the country is the warm cuddling that can accommodate all its children. ''

He added: "I say to those who thought that the American will embrace and protect him Here is your betrayal and left you vulnerable to killing .. He wants only the good of this country and oil," calling on those to return to the bosom of the country they grow up.

Mufti Hassoun pointed out that the Syrian island will remain a symbol of goodness, giving, brotherhood and love that binds all its children as it waits for a spring coming from the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army and through which they restore security and safety to every inch of our land and respond to the aggressors.

For his part, Archbishop of Al-Jazeera and Euphrates Syriac Orthodox Mar Maurice Amseh said that prayers are raised in the church and the mosque at the same time for peace and love, and that hearts return to the bosom of the mother Syria, which has not abandoned its children.
