Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said his country would continue to reduce its obligations under the nuclear deal unless other parties fulfill their commitments, noting that "the time for them is short."
"If Iran's demands are not met, it will continue to reduce its obligations under the nuclear agreement on the basis of its right in Article 36 of the agreement, and no one should question its will," Araghchi was quoted as saying during a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov. the field".
Araghchi said that Iran accepts initiatives when they are balanced and realistic and provides Iran's interests in the nuclear agreement and that the remaining countries in the agreement, if they are serious in maintaining it, should know that the time available to them is short.
For his part, Ryabkov considered the exit of America from the nuclear agreement in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which adopted the agreement unanimously reaffirmed his country's support for the agreement as a major achievement of multilateralism and announced Moscow's continued contacts with other participating countries in order to preserve it.
The two sides pointed to the importance of close consultations between the two countries on the nuclear agreement and other regional and international issues, stressing the need to continue these consultations.
