Chairman of the National Committee for Yemeni Prisoners Affairs Abdul Qader Al-Mortada announced that since the signing of the Swedish agreement, more than 600 prisoners from both sides have been freed in exchanges through mediation and local understandings.
The file of the prisoners is stalled because of the aggressive forces that reject the exchange of all for all or through successive payments, which made this file stuck amid the silence of the United Nations.
Al-Murtadha was quoted as saying in a tweet: "No prisoners have been freed through the United Nations despite the agreement signed by the parties under their auspices and under their supervision in Sweden."
Al-Murtada announced on the 30th of last month the release of 350 prisoners of mercenaries of the Saudi aggression, including 3 Saudis in a unilateral move, pointing out that this initiative falls within the agreement signed by Sweden late last year, which continues the coalition of Saudi aggression and mercenaries violations and violations.
