Damascus, (SANA) - Syria is the second international exhibition for media and advertising

By hosting more than 70 local and Arab media outlets, Media and Expo Syria is an important opportunity to showcase the latest developments and technologies of the media sector, networking between public and private media inside and outside Syria, and linking the media and the advertising market.

The areas of work of the participants in the exhibition organized by Mashhadani International Group for Exhibitions and Conferences on the ground of the exhibition city varied between audible, legible, written and electronic media, advertising offices, design, artistic printing and printing companies, printing and advertising services companies, processing of printing and photocopying machines, production and distribution companies, programming, drawing and 2D and 3D design.

Assistant Minister of Information Ahmed Dawa pointed out to reporters the importance of the exhibition because it contains new equipment for the media work, pointing out the need to keep pace with the Syrian media's great development in terms of technology, content, media image and videos, in addition to the fact that the exhibition is part of the effective commercial activity in Syria Of its territory.

A number of media outlets recorded their second participation in the Media Expo Syria with the aim of proving the continued presence and the information policies of the Arab participants and knowing their new news, according to the photographer Yusuf Matar of the Sinmar Syria news site and journalist Fadia Matar from the editorial website of the SANA delegate's Top News Network.

Specialized channels seek to publicize their programs through their presence in such exhibitions, according to Ahmed Rajeh of Nour Al-Sham satellite channel, who considered the exhibition window to introduce the channel as it targets the family and society and concerned with religious affairs.

According to Bassam Masri, Chairman of the Film and Television Industry Committee, he explained that their goal is to promote the Syrian drama in all events related to media and linking with the advertising market.

Among the Arab media, journalist Ghinwa Samra of Miraya International magazine indicated that they are seeking to spread in a number of countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Russia, Iran and Iraq, which encouraged them to participate in the exhibition to keep abreast of the latest developments in the Syrian media and networking with existing means.

Firas Al-Adal, Administrative and Financial Officer in the office of “Al-Alam Al-Syria Syria” in Damascus, stated that it is their first participation in the exhibition to introduce Syrian visitors to their new channel and social, service and sports programs, especially those related to the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army and reconstruction.

The exhibition, which began yesterday, will run until the 29th of this month.

The first media exhibition, entitled “Media Tex Declaration” was held in Damascus in December 2017, while the first session of Syria International Media and Advertising Exhibition “Media Expo Syria” started in October last year.
