The Syrian People's Committee for supporting the Palestinian people and resisting the Zionist project condemned the looting of the US occupation forces for Syrian oil and the aggression of the Turkish regime on Syrian territory, reiterating its full support to the Syrian Arab Army until the completion of the liberation of Syria from all forms of occupation and terrorism.
During its regular meeting today under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohammad Mustafa Miro, the Committee stressed its support and support for the young men and women of Jerusalem and occupied Palestine who continue with determination and faith to confront the Zionist enemy and his plans to undermine this struggling people and prevent them from attaining their legitimate rights to liberate their homeland and build an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. Unify the Palestinian position to overthrow the Zionist projects and liberate the occupied land.
The Committee paid tribute to the Palestinian and Syrian prisoners in the prisons of the Zionist occupation and the people of the occupied Syrian Golan for their honorable response to the Zionist-American project to cut the Golan from its homeland Syria and to all those who stand by Syria in the fight against terrorism and face the dismantling projects in the region.
The Committee called for the need to continue political, cultural and social work to activate and raise collective awareness and its role in the fight against takfiri thought, pointing to the need to keep the Palestinian issue alive in the collective memory at the level of the Arab world.
The Committee was established in 2001 after the second intifada in the occupied territories with the aim of providing humanitarian assistance from the Syrian people to their Palestinian brothers in the occupied territories.
