Popular protests continued in Lebanon today to demand better living conditions and no new taxes.
The protesters continued for the 12th consecutive day by blocking a number of roads between Beirut and the south, as well as a number of main and secondary roads in Tripoli, north of Lebanon, and at the entrances and the roads linking the city with Koura, Zgharta and the highway to Beirut in both directions and the old sea route.
Protesters also erected a large tent in the middle of the road between Tripoli and Akkar.
