British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has approved Brexit's postponement of January 31st by the European Union. This is a 24-hour deadline, in which the remaining 27 EU countries have to agree to the procedure.
In the letter to EU Council President Donald Tusk, the British head of state also asks the international community to exclude another Brexit shift. He feared that the House of Commons would never agree to a Brexit Treaty if it got the opportunity to make another move.
An EU spokesperson confirmed the receipt of Johnson's letter. Earlier, EU states had agreed on a Brexit postponement by the end of January, according to Tusk. This is a flexible extension that could force Britain to exit sooner in the ratification of the exit agreement negotiated with the EU.

Johnson has opened the debate on an early election in the British House of Commons. The prime minister wants to re-elect on 12 December following the rejection of his ratification plan for the EU exit agreement.
But the chances of success are low, because he needs a two-thirds majority of all 650 MPs and the largest opposition party Labor closes itself. Johnson does not have a majority in parliament and hopes he will get a coup from a poll.
Should the attempt fail, the government wants to make another attempt on this Tuesday, according to media reports. The reported among other things the British news agency PA with reference to government circles.
Accordingly, Johnson wants to bring in a mini-law to bypass the two-thirds majority. The smaller opposition parties have signaled to support an election on 9 December. To pass the law, a simple majority would suffice.
